The Opel Super 6 was a pre-war luxury civilian vehicle manufactured between 1937 and 1938. During World War II, many of these vehicles were requisitioned by the German Wehrmacht to serve as staff cars for transporting high-ranking officers near combat zones. To minimize visibility from Allied fighter bombers, these vehicles often had their glossy civilian paint and chrome trim covered with matte military colors, and they were fitted with distinctive blackout headlights designed to project a diffused beam for nighttime operations.
